The Philadelphia Flyers had a disappointing end to their playoffs and 2019-20 season. Coming into the playoffs they were one of the hottest teams in the league however Carey Price and the Montreal Canadiens made them look pretty regular to say the least. Despite their struggles they moved past the first round only to be pretty much dominated through seven games against the New York Islanders. While they pushed it to seven games, they struggled and now it seems one forward is on the trade block because of his lack of performance. According to Frank Seravalli of TSN that forward is James van Riemsdyk. JVR was a healthy scratch a couple of times throughout the playoffs and head coach Alain Vigneault doesn't seem to be a fan of the forward at all. While JVR has no trade protection, he has a heavy contract that carries an AAV of $7million through the 2022-23 season. Do you think anybody will be willing to take on JVR's cap hit?
