"The Philadelphia Flyers enjoyed a beat down of the Pittsburgh Penguins last night by a score of 6-3. There were some worries before the game as there was already some question marks regarding the Flyers blueline and then the team lost Shayne Gostisbehere to COVID protocol. Well it seems there might be some help available if they want. During the offseason, general manager Chuck Fletcher said he wouldn't be signing any free agents and would prefer to look for help through trade and now that help might be sitting in their lap. The Florida Panthers are looking to cut ties with defenseman Keith Yandle however up until now he's refused to waive his no movement clause. NHL insider Andy Strickland reports that Yandle has decided he'd be willing to waive it for the Philadelphia Flyers for a reunion with Alain Vigneault. The two worked together in New York and Yandle also has a relationship with Kevin Hayes. What it would take to land Yandle is unknown at the moment.Would you like to see Yandle in a Flyers uniform to help bolster the blueline?
If Keith Yandle waives his no-move look for the Philadelphia Flyers to join the Boston as potential landing spots. Player hasn't asked for a trade and team has yet to officially ask him to waive. #Flapanthers

It's a team he would waive to join. Yes tight with Hayes but also Philly being a really good team and Yandle has history playing for AV.— Andy Strickland (@andystrickland) January 14, 2021
