The Flyers have entered off-season mode since they did not make the playoffs, they are now looking to make some changes for next season.
Since they have a young core, the team will look at adding more young players as Briere has stated he wants to stay away from adding older veterans.
One player that the Flyers might be interested in is Jacob Chychrun, the Senators have been shopping the dman as he is going into the final year of his contract and he could be a perfect fit on the Flyers.
Another defenseman the Flyers could land would be Mattias Samuelsson from Minnesota, he is under contract for 6 more years at $4.29 million per season and could easily fit into the Flyers top 4 defensemen.

Hopefully Briere is able to make some moves this summer as they do not have a lot of cap space to sign free-agents which means he will need to make some trades to acquire new players.
