The Flyers playoff hopes are almost completely gone

The Flyers have been on an awful 8 game losing streak right before the playoffs, which cost them their spot and has now turned from into pure embarrassment.
The team has been playing awful lately but last night was the bottom of the rock as they lost 9-3 to a 27th place Canadiens team.

They currently sit 2 points behind the Capitals who occupy the last place in the wild card with a game in hand. If there is any chance the Flyers make the playoffs, they will need to win-out the rest of the season.
If the Flyers end up missing the playoffs, playing well the last few games of the season would be the best case scenario as they would have some kind of momentum going into next year instead of adding to this absurd losing streak.
