Yesterday there was some pretty groundbreaking news for Flyers' fans. One of the top NHL insiders, Pierre LeBrun, labelled the Flyers as one of the top landing spots for disgruntled Buffalo Sabres' forward Jack Eichel. Eichel of course is looked at like the Sabres franchise player so he won't exactly be cheap to land for any team. Sabres' insider John Vogl of The Athletic put together a list of the pieces the Sabres would be interested in when it comes to the Flyers. Players: Goalie Carter Hart, left winger James van Riemsdyk, right winger Travis Konecny
Picks: No. 13 in July
Prospects: Defenseman Cam York, right wingers Tyson Foerster and Zayde Wisdom
While it wouldn't have to include all those pieces, it would require a combination of most. Considering the Sabres struggle to find a goalie over the years, they would probably want Hart to make any deal work. Would you be willing to give up Hart after his struggles this year to bring in Eichel?
