The Philadelphia Flyers continued their disastrous western Canada road trip last night with a loss to the Edmonton Oilers. Luckily the Flyers will head back to Philly for a home game on Saturday instead of playing the Winnipeg Jets. Philly went 0-2-1 on the road trip and one of the things that stuck out the most was head coach Alain Vigneault's treatment of Jakub Voracek. Vigneault hasn't been impressed by the Flyers forward and has demoted him down to the third line. Voracek feels he's fine, he just needs to tweak a couple of things. "I have to smooth out some things with [moving] the puck on the ice," he said. "I'm talking about turnovers, because I would say, defensively, I haven't been bad. But I'm an offensive player who gets paid to make a difference on the offensive side of the puck. I have to make things happen with the puck, because if I don't even if I play good defensively it doesn't matter."
The forward isn't really concerned. "I'll be fine," he said. "I've been through it a lot. Maybe if it's Game 60 and we're still talking about it, then I'd be concerned."
