"The New Jersey Devils will pay a visit to the Wells Fargo Center on October 9 which will be the Flyers' second game of the regular season. The Flyers and Devils have always had a bit of a rivalry, however this game will be extra special. Wayne Simmonds will make his return to Philly after getting traded to Nashville at last year's trade deadline and signing with the Devils during the offseason. Simmonds is currently in Canada preparing for the season with other NHLers and caught up with the media on Thursday. The former Flyer said that ""he'd be mad if Flyers fans don't boo him when he returns to Philly"".Philly can get loud, however being the warrior that Simmonds was for the Flyers, he'll get a nice video tribute and probably a standing ovation.
