This week has been a busy one for all General Mangers and certainly Penguins GM Kyle Dubas.
Dubas made arguably the biggest move of the deadline on Thursday night as he traded superstar Jake Guentzel to the Hurricanes in exchange for Michael Bunting, a few prospects and some picks.
In a press-conference following the deadline, Dubas explained how loved Guentzel was by the entire organization and the move upset some members such as Head Coach mike Sullivan.
"Mike's been here a long time, he's like the players," Dubas said. "When you make the decision to remove someone from the group that's hugely popular and contributes in such a great way, nobody's happy about it."

The Penguins GM also explained that they tried to come to an agreement on a contract extension but were unsuccessful.
"Dubas then said that there was an attempt on his end to get a contract extension done with Guentzel, but to no avail."
It will be interesting how the team bounces back from such a tremendous loss.
