Panthers and Coyotes fans have had this game circled on their calendars or in their phones since the Nick Cousins and Jason Zucker incident happened a few weeks ago.

After dishing a dirty hit to the head to Coyotes Jusso Valimaki, Jason Zucker decided to take matters into his own hands and gave Cousins a vicious bodycheck which lead to a three game suspension.
Fast forward to today and you could cut the tension on the ice with a knife that both these teams were ready to do battle during warmup. Sure enough, as the players gathered for the opening faceoff, both Panthers Ryan Lomberg and Coyotes Jack McBain decided to settle the score.

Just prior to the fight, you could see both guys telling each other that it was going donw. Both men traded blows and were quite intense in their tilt. There has been much frustration with many opponents of the Panthers as they have become a team known for their tough play, fighting and dirty hits.
It's likely this will not be the last we see of these two teams and their antics.
