Sean Couturier could return next week for the Flyers when they take on the Montreal Canadiens. Per CBS Sports Sean Couturier will not travel with the team to Buffalo, New York when the Flyers face the Sabres on Friday night nor will he travel to Columbus, Ohio when the Flyers play the Blue Jackets on Saturday night.

"Sean Couturier has a sprained shoulder, I'm told. He's day to day, as John Tortorella said yesterday. Not sure if he's practicing today but it appears that what he's dealing with isn't overly serious."
However, it appears that Sean Couturier may return next Tuesday night when the Flyers play the Montreal Canadiens in Montreal. Also, per Kevin Kurz, Sean Couturier injury that he is dealing with is a sprained shoulder and it does not seem to be too serious. This is great news for Sean Couturier as he missed all of last year due to injury and only played in 29 games the year before. Currently on the year, Sean Couturier has played in 70 games with 11 goals and 25 assists for a total of 36 points. Lets hope Sean Couturier can make a full recovery and can be on the ice again shortly.
