As the league settles into the All-Star break and teams have more time on their hands to shift their focus to the upcoming trade deadline, the Philadelphia Flyers have been fielding calls for a number of players on their roster. Most recently, it has been reported that the Flyers are making a veteran center available in trade talks as the center market has been pretty thin this deadline.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Danny Briere and the Flyers front office have made veteran center Scott Laughton available in trade discussions as many teams are looking for a center in a relatively thin market.
It is reported that if teams want to pry Laughton away from Philly, it is going to take a first round draft pick or something in that range as last night's trade that sent Elias Lindholm to Vancouver has seemingly set the market.

Some possible teams that are interested in Laughton are the Minnesota Wild, Ottawa Senators, and St. Louis Blues. Laughton was already in the trade discussions earlier this offseason during the 2023 NHL Draft but nothing ever came of it.
This season has been somewhat underwhelming for Laughton, recording just 20 points on the season with 15 assists and 5 goals and a -8 plus/minus. Laughton has spent his entire career in Philadelphia playing over 500 games in the course of 11 seasons, with his best year coming in 2022-23 where he garnered 43 points on 25 assists and 18 goals.
If teams are willing to move a first rounder for Laughton, Danny Briere and the Flyers should take that in a heartbeat.
