The Philadelphia Flyers are in a rebuild and Flyers general manager Danny Briere has made it clear that they will not trade draft picks or young prospects. That is exactly what Briere has done as the Flyers are now loaded with draft picks over the next couple years.

One thing that is known is that the #Flyers will have a lot of leverage in the subsequent two drafts.

In the 2024 and 2025 drafts, Philadelphia currently has 10 picks each.
Over the next two drafts, the Flyers will have 10 draft picks in each draft. This includes two first rounders in this year's draft. The Flyers will pick 12th overall this year and their second first rounder can be between 24th overall to 32nd overall. It was the first rounder the Flyers received in returned for Claude Giroux from the Florida Panthers. The position of the pick all depends on how the Panthers finish in the postseason.
Obviously, the Flyers could use all these draft picks to select young players, however they could also use them in leverage for trades. There are rumors that the Flyers are interested in a top-line defenseman, as well as the possibility of a top-line center. Either way, the Flyers are in a good spot in regard to their rebuild.
