This time of year NHL fans are on the edge of their seats as the trade deadline is just weeks away. For some teams, the trade deadline can be an opportunity to add the finishing touches to a playoff-caliber roster. For others, it can change the trajectory of their franchise as they transition into a rebuild and look for draft picks and assets. With the Flyers in an interesting position being in a playoff spot despite finding themselves in the midst of a rebuild, many are curious to see if the Flyers will be buyers or sellers.

One NHL insider in particular, is not only predicting the Flyers to be sellers at the deadline, but is also predicting a number of other playoff teams to be quick to sell by March 8.
"One month out of NHL trade deadline & biggest trend emerging is potential playoff teams selling. The Flyers, 3rd in Metro Division, have been actively taking calls on roster players. The Blues, Caps, Flames, Kraken, Preds & Wild, all in the Wild Card hunt, could be sellers too."

The Flyers have already been linked to have multiple discussions with a number of teams including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, and Vancouver Canucks regarding a number of players.
Rasmus Ristolainen, Scott Laughton, Nick Seeler, and Sean Walker are all proving to be some hot commodities in the market, especially considering how slim the center market is this season.
