Trevor Zegras Plays Against the Philadelphia Flyers

The Anaheim Ducks are at the end of what has been an embarrassing season by every way you look at it. They are third worst in the league in points and headed towards another lottery pick in the upcoming draft. They did a young star in Cutter Gautier from the Flyers in a trade that sent Jamir Drysdale to the Flyers in return. Gautier is projected to be a top center in the league for a long time.

This trade however has intensified the trade rumors that surround standout young player, Trevor Zegras. It seems it is down to when does Zegras get traded more than if he gets traded. Zegras has dealt injuries this year but is still a young center that could boost any lineup.
The Blackhawks are a team that could be in the cards for Zegras. They already have rookie Phenom Connor Bedard and could be looking to add more young talent as they rebuild the Blackhawks back to the former glory days of Patrick Kane's young years.
Zegras could definitely use a change of scenery as he has seemed to fallen out of the plans in Anaheim and could be the odd man out to bring back more draft capital.
Another team firmly in the running for Zegras has been the Philadelphia Flyers. Zegras was always very close with Jamie Drysdale, and they create a trio with Philly Defenseman Cam York as three inseparable players off the ice.
Zegras will have plenty of suitors this year and a change of scenery could be just what the doctor ordered for the young center.
