The Philadelphia Flyers believed to be next captain Scott Laughton may be on the way out.
On Thursday morning, NHL insider Frank Seravalli reported on The Daily Faceoff Rundown podcast today that Daniel Briere has already turned down a haul for Scott Laughton:
The Blues have offered their 25th and 29th and future 2nd round pick in 2024.
St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said that he enjoyed watching Scott Laughton play at the World Championship.

Seravalli added that other teams have intrigued interest in the 29-year-old.
These moves may have been the buzz that Flyers insiders and Elliotte Friedman mentioned throughout the week, but nothing was completed.
A possible reason why the Flyers haven't pulled the trigger on this deal is because other teams may be offering a 1st for Scott Laughton, which is why he is still a Flyer and hasn't been moved to St. Louis yet.
Haley Taylor also added, «I think the Blues would benefit from Laughton as he's a well developed center and that's what the Blues need. I think the blues do have a lot of power since they have the most draft picks in the first round.»
As of now, no deal has been made. The Flyers view Laughton as a player who leads by example and would play a big role during the rebuilding process.
Danny Briere should get this deal finished as it could be a big steal for the Flyers in the long run.
