The Philadlphia Flyers 2021 second round pick has been a scoring machine in the AHL this season as he has been tearing it up with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. After an AHL All-Star appearance, Samu Tuomaala shows no signs of slowing down with his latest goal.

In the first period of last nights game for the Phantoms, Samu Tuomaala netted his 12th goal of the season in impressive fashion as a shot ricocheted off of the goalie and right back to Tuomaala as he screamed it past the goalie to give the Phantoms the lead.
The 21-year-old Finnish star has been nothing short of special this season, recording 30 points in just 37 games, including 18 assists and 12 goals; enough to be selected to the 2024 AHL All-Star Game.
Tuomaala's game is centered around his speed and shooting ability and has shown the potential to give the Flyers that offensive boost they have been looking for. Although nothing is official yet, Flyers fans could see Tuomaala in orange and black very soon.
