BREAKING: Massive health news strikes Flyers top prospect

Since the beginning of December, Flyers top prospect and Russian sensation Matvei Michkov has been on and off the ice as he continues to battle pneumonia. With the latest announcement coming from Michkov's KHL team, it seems that Michkov continues to be sidelined as he tries to reach full strength.
Michkov has been able to return to practice, but continues to be out of the lineup during game action as he was left out of the lineup for HC Sochi's matchup this morning.

When Michkov has been on the ice this season, he has exceeded expectations and has shown his superstar capabilities. In 34 games, Michkov has recorded 29 points on 13 goals and 16 assists.
Michkov has shown progress in getting healthy as he posted a video on Instagram the day after Christmas of him skating around and doing conditioning drills with the caption, "I'm back."
Although there is not an exact date for Michkov's return, Michkov is getting healthier day by day and has traveled with Sochi for their road trip from January 20-24.
