Flyers make goalie announcement for Saturday matinee

Saturday afternoon sees the Philadelphia Flyers welcome another top-NHL club to the Wells Fargo Center as they take on the 2022 Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche at 1:00p.m. EST. As the Flyers hit the rink for morning skate, the team announced who will be in goal for todays matchup against one of the top scoring NHL clubs.

Carter Hart will have the responsibility of stopping the NHL's scoring leader Nathan MacKinnon. MacKinnon has an impressive 73 points this season, with an NHL leading 49 assists to go along with 24 goals thus far.
As Hart continues to find his rhythm, each game has been stronger and stronger for Hart since returning in late December. Hart is 3-1 in his last four starts, with his most impressive outing coming on Monday night in St. Louis.
Against the Blues Hart stopped 28 of 30 shots as the Flyers cruised to a 4-2 victory on the road. Hart currently has 12 wins on the season with a 2.67 goals allowed per game and a .912 save percentage.
Puck drop is set for 1:00p.m. EST at the Wells Fargo Center.
