A Look Back on the Return of Oskar Lindblom: 2 years ago today

Two years ago, on this very date and less than one year after Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, he made his return back to the Flyer's lineup for a game 6 matchup against the New York Islanders in the playoffs.
Lindblom had been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma and was expected to miss the rest of that 2019-20 season at the time of the announcement.
Lindblom finished up his final rounds of chemo treatment in July, when he was allowed to ring a ceremonial bell the hospital, he was in had to celebrate the milestone.

After undergoing chemotherapy and other treatments, he's back in the Flyers' lineup to help try and force a Game 7. Such an incredible story for Oskar to come back.

Now With Oskar in San Jose and moved on from the Flyer's roster, he still will always have a special place in the fan's hearts and the NHL. A special return this upcoming season as he will play back in Philadelphia as part of a new team.
