Chuck Fletcher needs to make some space under the cap this summer if he wants to make big moves. We talked a lot about James Van Riemsdyk, who's cap space is $7M. If on the paper, moving JVR seems difficult, a lot of teams will be eager to take him.
The Arizona Coyotes seems to be the perfect team to trade for JVR...
However, another forward could be bought out this summer: Oskar Lindblom.

If he's indeed bought out, the Flyers will save $3.33M under the cap next season. However, they will have a $666K of dead cap space in 2023-24.
