It has been a tough couple of days for the Florida Panthers. Their GM did everything he could to give his team a legitimate chance to win a Cup this season, but as you know, they couldn't get it done.

An elimination is tough. But being swept is a lot tougher...
So, what's next for the Panthers? One thing is for sure: some big pieces are going to be moved. Their two big additions at the trade deadline in Ben Chiarot and Claude Giroux are unlikely to sign a new contract with the team this summer. They have so many UFAs to sign that it's going to be difficult to keep Chiarot or Giroux or both...
The other big piece that they want to move is former Flyer' Sergei Bobrovsky. With Spencer Knight coming up, it's understandable why they want to move on from Bobrovsky. His contract is huge (10M$ until 2025-26) and his performances aren't really worth the deal he signed in the summer of 2019.

Elliotte Friedman said that he suspects the Panthers to have tried to move him this year, or at least lay the ground to find some trade possibilities.
This season, Bobrovsky had a 39-7-3 record, with a 2.67 GAA and a .913 save percentage. In the playoffs, he presented a 2.70 GAA and a .911 save percentage.
