Who's going to become the next Philadelphia Flyers head coach? That's the big question.

Rick Tocchet, John Tortorella, Barry Trotz, Jim Montgomery, a lot of names have been brought up lately. But a surprise candidate could join the race, according to Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman: Kirk Muller.
The Flyers are not the only team interested in him, as the Winnipeg Jets are also interested in the former Habs.
Muller has the experience of running a bench. He began as an assistant coach for the Montreal Canadiens between 2006 and 2011, before becoming the Carolina Hurricanes head coach from the 2011-12 season to 2013-14. He didn't make the playoffs once during his stint with the Hurricanes.
After, he became an assistant again for the Blues, before returning to Montreal as an associate coach until the 2020-21 season. He's now an associate coach for the Calgary Flames.
