Last night's battle Alberta was full of surprises. Maybe it's the Oilers finally making it over their playoff hump or the fact that Mike Smith is still in the league.

What we all didn't expect was for teammates Zack Kassian and Josh Archibald to destroy each other in the end boards and absolutely crush one another.
It is to be expected when Kassian is on the ice to keep your head up. The 6'3 mammoth originally had another giant Nikita Zadorov lined up behind the Flames net but when he got there to lay the boom, his teammate, 5'10 Josh Archibald was the one waiting for him.

The pair of Oilers had Zadorov lined up behind his net but the Russian was quick on his feet and span away right in the knick of time.
The Oilers will be mad at the Flames especially Matthew Tkachuk and Milan Lucic for their taunts and Lucic's devastating run at Mike Smith on Sunday.
Luckily the two Edmonton players were no worse for wear and able to play on.
Guess it was just a friendly reminder from Kassian to everyone on the ice that nobody is safe when he gets going.
The Oilers lead the Flames 3-1.
