According to hockey analytics and statistics website Hockey Prospecting, the Philadelphia Flyers rank 10th in the NHL for having the best prospects in their system.
"The Flyers system isn't in terrible shape. Lots of nice pieces like Frost, Brink, Andrae, Gauthier and York. They have a very solid goalie prospect duo (one of which unfortunately is Fedotov)."
Note that the list was updated after the recent 2022 NHL Draft. The Flyers are ahead of teams such as the Leafs, Sens and Blackhawks while they trail teams such as Buffalo and the L.A. Kings.

To be considered a prospect, the player must have played less than 100 NHL games for forwards and defence, and 50 games for a goalie.
The site ranks players by sorting them into 7 groups. Here are the main three:
-Top 5 star (average star probability of their top 5 prospects) -Top 5 NHLer (average NHLer probability of the top 5 prospects) -Depth star rank (number of prospects in the system F or D with a 10% chance of being a star)
The Flyers rank 8, 9 and 12 league wide respectively for these three categories.
"The NHL Flyers team is not going to be good for a while. They should embrace the rebuild. They're not starting with completely empty cupboards and, if done correctly, they could probably start to come out of it in 2 years."
