An Update that is not going to please Flyers fans
As it stands, it seems the worst has come to pass for the Philadelphia Flyers and their contract with Ivan Fedotov.
A media conference was held on behalf of Fedotov and KHL President Alexei Morozov with regard to the tolling of Fedotov's contract.

There was a discussion between Morozov and Ivan Fedotov regarding the NHL and according to the goalie Fedotov himself, the Flyers didn't have a contract with the goalie.
It is worth noting that Morozov went on to explain how the CSKA Moscow team attempted to contact the Philadelphia Flyers and the NHL in order to resolve the matter, however, there was no agreement reached.

Alexei Morozov: CSKA tried to contact the NHL and Philadelphia. Could not come to an agreement.
Alexei Morozov: in the future we must sign an agreement with the NHL. But a year ago it was impossible and now nothing has changed.
As far as Morozov, president of the KHL, is concerned, it seems to be because there is not yet an agreement. According to Morozov, there was an understanding between the two leagues but it was rescinded by the NHL years ago.
In other words, according to Morozov, CSKA and KHL have tried to resolve the dispute, however, there hasn't been any progress made as of yet, and Morozov wants something to change as soon as possible.
