Arizona Coyotes Just Got Even More Embarrassing After Today's Announcement

The Arizona Coyotes have been the laughing stock of the entire NHL for many years now, but when you think they can't get anymore embarrassing they prove you wrong.

The Coyotes have been rebuilding it seems for over a decade without any improvements having many hockey fans and Insiders wondering why they haven't packed up and relocated.
After being unable to keep the lights on in their previous home the Coyotes are heading to Arizona State University to share their arena that's when everyone said the Coyotes have hit rock bottom.
Not any more it gets worse the Coyotes announced today that their new ECHL affiliate is the Atlanta Gladiators. So, what's the issue? The Gladiators play in Gas South Arena, which seats 13,000 for hockey. Mean while their so called NHL franchise team The Coyotes will be playing in a 4,700 seat capacity arena.

Meaning their East coast affiliate team has nearly 3 times the capacity that the Coyotes will have this season in the "Mullet Arena".
"We are very pleased to once again partner with the Atlanta Gladiators as our new ECHL affiliate," said Coyotes GM Bill Armstrong. "The Gladiators are a first-class organization with a loyal and passionate fan base. We look forward to working with Gladiators President Jerry James and Head Coach Jeff Pyle this season."

"We're incredibly excited to be partnering with the Arizona Coyotes and the Tucson Roadrunners as our NHL and AHL affiliates," said Gladiators President Jerry James. "The Coyotes organization has done a phenomenal job developing young players, and we're thrilled to be a part of that pipeline."
