BREAKING: Flyers' makes a huge announcement on Joel Farabee's health

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today that forward Joel Farabee underwent successful disc replacement surgery in his cervical region this morning. Dr. Jon Yoon performed the surgery at Penn Medicine.

Farabee is expected to make a full recovery in 3 to 4 months, which takes us all the way to the beginning of the season.

This will add some more pressure on GM Chuck Fletcher to find some offensive players on the market. Farabee will have to go through an adjustment period before being at 100%.
