BREAKING : Former Flyer' named to team's Hockey Operation Staff

Sami Kapanen, a former Flyer', was appointed as as European Player Development & Pro Scout. Kyle Shero has been named Amateur Scout.

Kapanen played 5 seasons with the Flyers between 2002 and 2008. He collected 113 points in 311 games with the team. Kyle Shero was a Hockey Operations intern for the Columbus Blue Jackets between March and July 2021. He was the captain of the Men's Ice Hockey Team at Connecticut College.
