The NHL Trade deadline could be a little lighter on big name trades, as we've already seen two big names be traded when Bo Horvat was dealt to the New York Islanders, and then Vladimir Tarasenko was dealt to the New York Rangers.
Now one of the biggest names available, Arizona Coyotes defenceman Jakob Chychrun, appears to be getting traded fairly soon after TSN Hockey revealed, Chychrun was made a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs the St Louis Blues due to "trade reasons".
ROSTER UPDATE: Coyotes D Jakob Chychrun is a healthy scratch tonight versus the St. Louis Blues due to trade related reasons. F Liam O'Brien is day to day with an upper body injury. Defensemen Victor Soderstrom & Dysin Mayo have been recalled from the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL).
The 24-year-old is the best defencemen in in the trade market right now and could be a huge piece to help a playoff team compete for the Stanley Cup. Many believe Chychrun will be a Toronto Maple Leaf, but there's also been plenty of other teams interested, stay tuned..
