On Wednesday, TSN's Rick Westhead is set to release a new report, which alleges that the OHL Commissioner, David Branch, has confirmed the league hired an investigator to examine allegations that some hockey parents paid to secure their sons' selection in the 2022 OHL draft. The report suggests that three coaches from the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) have provided evidence, including text messages, that indicate parents paid more than $30,000 for their sons' selection.
However, Branch has not yet answered questions regarding the identity of the investigator, the scope of the OHL's investigation, the duration, or how much the investigator was paid.
