BREAKING: Michkov officially set to make return

Announced on Sochi's team twitter page with a photo of Michkov's jersey hanging in his locker with the caption "I"m back" was a pleasant surprise for Flyers fans to wake up to this morning.

Michkov has been battling pneumonia for over a month and has slowly been making his recovery, each week teasing a return to action. After suffering with a respiratory illness for quite some time, it's no surprise it took Michkov longer than usual to get back to full strength.

It was expected that Michkov was going to make his return sometime this week as he traveled with the team on their road trip and participated in morning skate each day, but nothing was official until this morning when the team officially announced his return.

Michkov has been nothing short of sensational in the games he did play, scoring 29 points in 34 games, including 13 goals and 16 assists. It will be interesting to see if Michkov can pickup right where he left off or if it will take him some time to get back into a rhythm.
