The Philadelphia Flyers may have taken a win-streak ending loss last night to the Columbus Blue Jackets, but it appears the Flyers did not take the actual loss, but the Blue Jackets suffered quite the unfortunate one.
Star defensemen, Zach Werenski of the Columbus Blue Jackets has suffered multiple season ending injuries throughout his time in the NHL, and suffered yet another one during last nights game against the Philadelphia Flyers. Werenski went to lay a big body check on Flyers forward Travis Konecny, but Werenski put every single bit of weight he had into it while Konecny avoided the hit.
The hit has officially ruled out Werenski for the remaining 65 plus games this season as he has a separated shoulder and may have other injuries.
