Gotta see it - John Tortorella receives standing ovation and video tribute during his return to Columbus
John Tortorella, who spent six seasons behind the bench for the Columbus Blue Jackets arrived back in Columbus tonight to face his old team as the head coach of the Flyers. The Blue Jackets put together an excellent tribute video that was played on the Jumbotron during the first TV timeout.
Torts received a standing ovation from the Columbus crowd. It's always great to see when and organization and a fan base shows their appreciation and love for their former coach.
Torts is a man with many accolades to his name which include Stanley Cup winner, two-time Jack Adams trophy winner, over 1300 games coached in the NHL and has been a head coach with five different organizations.
