Goaltender Alex Nedelijovik has reportedly been released by the Detroit Red Wings and put on waivers, according to Elliotte Friedman.

Nedeljikovic represents a low-risk, high-reward opportunity for any other NHL team. At 27 years old, he hasn't had his best season, posting a 2-4-2 record, but he was once the Hurricanes' and Detroit Red Wings' future in goal. He is currently on a 6-million dollar contract, which may discourage teams from signing him, but for rebuilding teams looking for young players, this should fit right into their rebuild plans.

OR, the Philadelphia Flyers on the other hand who are in-between a rebuilding phase it seems. With Carter Hart as the starter, and goaltender Samuel Ersson recently making his name as the backup, the Leigh Valley Phantoms will be in need of a goaltender.
