BREAKING NEWS : The Flyers trade Justin Braun to a divisional rival

According to Jeff Marek, defenseman Justin Braun has been traded to the New York Rangers for a 3rd round pick in 2023. In an ideal world, the Flyers would have wanted to acquire a 2nd round pick, but a third isn't that bad.

Braun was traded by the San Jose Sharks to the Philadelphia Flyers during the summer of 2019. He then signed a contract extension with Philly in October 2020.

In 176 games with the Flyers, Braun registered 41 points, including 32 assists.
