It has been confirmed by several news outlets that a New York Islanders player was reportedly robbed.

Before going to the KHL, Nikita Soshnikov�played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the St. Louis Blues before returning to his hometown in Russia to play hockey, leaving the league.
Sport express RU, a Russian news company,�reports that Soshnikov's Moscow apartment was broken into. In addition to several items being stolen, cash, including $1,700 USD and 2,000 Euros�was also taken.

Sport Express RU reports that before leaving for North America to re-join the NHL, Soshnikov turned in his keys to the apartment building's security, which raises concern.
There has�been no news of arrests or of anything else, but there are undoubtedly some warning signs.
