Philadelphia entered halftime in Game 7 against Boston trailing by three, but the team was heavily outplayed in the third quarter as they were outscored 33-10. Rivers, age 61, coached three seasons with Philadelphia, where he honed a 154-82 record, making the playoffs in as many years.
