This just in- Seattle Kraken's prospect Shane Wright is involved in one of the biggest Junior Hockey trades of all time. The 19 year-old was acquired by the Windsor Spitfires for a package deal that included two young players and 7 picks.
Wright was named captain of Team Canada the 2023 world junior hockey Championships to help build his confidence back after a rough start in the NHL with the Seattle Kraken who drafted him 4th in this past NHL draft.
The London Knights were believed to be the odds on favorite to acquire Wright, but the Windsor Spitfires would come in the offering a package that included 2 players and 7 draft picks for Wright.
