Some surprising news has struck the Flyers this morning as Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff believes a new Flyers forward has hit the trade block, due to his ''camps'' (agent and himself) unhappiness with John Tortorella.
That forward is Joel Farabee, who earned 3 minutes and 52 seconds of ice time in the Flyers game against the Calgary Flames. Farabee's camp is reportedly "unhappy with how the season has unfolded underneath John Tortorella", unsure what that means, as nobody expected there to be any true success in year one from Tortorella. Farabee is a talented kid but has struggled this season after undergoing artificial disk replacement late in the summer, which limited his training. That prompted Tortorella to say he wasn't going to «let Farabee hide behind that,» which didn't help. He's also played on the fourth line. The Flyers don't want to trade Farabee at his lowest value. There is no formal trade request made from Farabee's camp, but they're seeking answers on a solution, especially since it's clear that Tortorella isn't going anywhere.
