The Philadelphia Flyers have just 3 wins their last fifteen games which is quite awful, but definitely not the worst we have seen this season compared to the Flyers' 10 game losing streak.

The Flyers last game against the New Jersey Devils resulted in a very close and tight 2-1 win for Philly, but there was one noticeable takeaway from that game, Flyers forward Kevin Hayes was in John Tortorella's ''doghouse'' and was benched for twenty-five plus minutes, even when the game was tied at one a side Torts refused to put out the teams' leading scorer.

Hayes had a turnovers and also a penalty called on him which lead to the Devils scoring a goal, and Torts was not a fan so Hayes sat the entire third period as well as a bit of the second on the bench, seeing zero action.

Reports have came out from the Flyers' morning skate and it appears Kevin Hayes will be in the press box tonight after he was told he won't be in the lineup, the Flyers have decided to put Keifer Bellows into the lineup in replace of Hayes, Bellows was waived from the Flyers roster for having a ghost-like showing throughout his games this season.
Torts had this to say:
Torts on Hayes, and scratching his top scorer: "It's kind of a big picture, in my mind, as far as team concept. I'll put it to you this way: I can't keep looking by things, (just) because we're worried about scoring." (continued)

"...I've got to look at the big picture of what this team is going to be, what the standard is, of how we have to play. That far outweighs losing some offense in a particular game. I'll give you that."
