Bettman's Decision on Raising Salary Cap Has One GM Fuming
Gary Bettman has recently announced that the salary cap will be raised by $1M next season, but does that even change anything?
In my opinion, raising the cap by just $1M does nothing but give teams the ability to sign a bottom 6 player to a one year deal.
We are in an era where players want, and deserve, to be paid more, but the teams just aren't able to do it because of how tight the cap space is.

One GM had a very strong message regarding the current cap space difficulties for many teams in the NHL.
You can't blame this guy for being so upset. There are so many teams that are trying to win now, but they are extremely restricted on what moves they are able to do because of the cap situation.
