The Mitchell Miller story is no longer news. You either know about it or don't follow hockey.

Shortly following Bettman's comments regarding Miller's NHL ban, the Bruins released him.
People may have thought that the Bruins were in the clear about this, but they aren't.
According to NHL insider, Larry Brooks (via Hockey Feed), the Bruins will probably have to pay Miller the $82,500 that he was owed this season.

That is the least of it, though, as the Bruins will also probably have to buyout his entire contract worth $516,000 plus a $285,000 signing bonus.
That is a lot of money for a guy who will not see professional hockey for awhile, if ever.
Miller has a strong case to get every penny he agreed to, though, as he is backed by representatives of the hockey players association.
There are many different outcomes that can happen, but the buyout is the most likely scenario on top of the season payment.
