Former Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri had a career defining year in Colorado racking up a career high 87 point season, and was a huge part of the Avalanche run to the Stanley Cup.
Kadri's play didn't go unnoticed as New York Islanders General Manager Lou Lamoriello who was expected to make a big offer to Kadri appears to be a done deal. According to Hockey Insider Mark Seidel:
