Per Elliot Friedman, The Flyers and one of their biggest pieces in Zach MacEwen, have avoided their arbitration and settled for a one-year deal worth $925K.

The Flyers now have two of the toughest players in the league and it will certainly show this upcoming season. A player that needed to be kept here. Honestly, i would have liked to even see MacEwen play 2nd line minutes last season. He earned it and certainly played for it.
A cheap deal for a big piece. MacEwen never took a shift off and always was ready to answer to any task. Welcome Back Zack!
