Since Eias Pettersson tore up the Swedish Elite League his individual skill and wicked shot have been his calling card and have made him the superstar the Canucks knew he would be.
It should come as no surprise that Petey pulled off a move to secure the shootout win for his team, but not with his signature snipe.
Instead he paid homage to fellow Swede and Hall-of-famer, former Colorado Avalanche and Philadelphia Flyer Peter Forsberg.
Pettersson sealed the win for his squad with a Forsbergian beauty of a one-handed tuck.
