If you are a Philadelphia Flyers fan, chances are you are aware of Claude Giroux's short temper, that usually results in some french swear words being shouted out. Tonight, Ottawa Senators fans got their first taste of it whenever they were facing off against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Claude Giroux was already in the box and Jake Sanderson of the Ottawa Senators was given a 2-minute penalty for delay of game, but why was Clause so mad? Well, after further review it appears that the Hurricanes player knocked the puck out of the zone and it was not Jake Sanderson of the Ottawa Senators.
This is another good case of NHL referees calling things as they please, and not on what actually happened.
