After the Philadelphia Flyers went into the weekend riding the momentum of a five game winning streak including three wins on the road and two wins coming against top teams in the Western Conference, the Flyers ended the weekend on an underwhelming note dropping back-to-back home games at the Wells Fargo Center.
Between a 7-4 loss at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche and a blown lead the next day against the last place Ottawa Senators, the Flyers are desperate to rebound on Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
One surprising turn of events over the weekend has been the drastic change in minutes of
Morgan Frost and
Jamie Drysdale who, as of late, have been producing on both ends of the ice.
Starting with Morgan Frost, Sunday's loss to Ottawa saw Frost only saw 14 minutes of ice time, one of the lowest on the team for someone who has been able to create opportunities as of late.

Before Sunday, Frost was really showing progress as he recorded six points in his last four games. Was he injured? Was Torts just trying to give him rest? Torts never commented on the reason for the low minutes but Frost has been a crucial part to the Flyers offense as of late.
The second Flyer who's minutes were decreased on Sunday was newest defenseman Jamie Drysdale. After starting 5-0 in the Drysdale era, Drysdale saw very little minutes to start yesterdays game.
Drysdale has been recovering from an illness so it makes a little bit of sense, but the little usage in Sunday's loss did raise some eyebrows from Flyers fans.
