It has been revealed that Russian forward Matvei Michkov expressed a strong desire to join the Philadelphia Flyers prior to the NHL Entry Draft this year.
Flyers' General Manager, Danny Briere, shared details about Michkov's visit to their facility in Philadelphia and subsequent meetings.
Despite the language barrier, Michkov's charisma and excitement stood out to the Flyers' staff.

It is clear that his admiration for the Flyers was evident throughout the pre-draft process.
