These Three NHL Teams Are Discussing Possible Trades

The Habs, while still in a rebuild want to move some forwards to gain some cap space and continue their rebuild. They include Josh Anderson, Mike Hoffman, Evgenii Dadonov, Jonathan Drouin and Christian Dvorak.

The Montreal team is moving forward around Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky. The Calgary Flames have recently been linked to Anderson and Drouin.

The Ottawa Senators are in a need for a defenseman with Thomas Chabot's injury. They have expressed past interest in the Coyotes Jakob Chychrun and could look at his teammate, Shayne Gostisbehere.

They could even be onboard with dealing with the Boston Bruins.

GM Pierre Dorion may just rely on his prospects first before turning to a trade. He has the assets needed to make a deal, so se shall see what goes down.

The Canucks are a mess. They may fire their head coach Bruce Boudreau over their terrible performance thus far this season. Players like Brock Boeser, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Tanner Pearson, Conor Garland, and Luke Schenn could be traded to get them back on track.

Ekman-Larsson has already stated that he will not waive his no-trade clause of his contract which goes through the 2026-27 season.

Boeser, who is having a down season may attract a trade partner. He is a proven scorer, tallying 20 or more goals in four seasons in Vancouver.

Another player who is gathering interest due to his reasonable $850,000 salary is Schenn. The veteran could be a good choice for a number of teams needing help on the blueline.
