Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals last night was incredible. The Colorado Avalanche won their duel against the Edmonton Oilers 8-6 and took a 1-0 series lead.

With that being said, Colorado could be in BIG trouble for the rest of the series. First, Darcy Kuemper left the game with an upper-body injury (blurry vision) and the team still don't know if he will be available for Game 2 tomorrow night. Also, Andre Burakovsky left the game last night, but he returned a little bit later. His status for tomorrow will be something to follow closely.
The Avs are now hoping for one thing: that Pavel Francouz can hold the fort for them until Kuemper returns to action.
